Bang & Olufsen announce BeoPlay A6 premium wireless speaker
BeoPlay A6 is the new premium lifestyle wireless speaker from the luxury audio device maker B&O. A6, designed by Danish designer Jakob Wagner comes with support for AirPlay, DLNA and Bluetooth 4 and can also stream music from Spotify, Deezer and TuneIn. The interesting feature of A6 is its touch sensitive top panel. You can control music by swiping or tapping on top of the speaker (first introduced tin BeoPlay A9). BeoPlay A6 is priced at EUR 999 / USD 999 / GBP 799 / DKK 7499 and will be available in stores from 19th of October
BeoPlay A6 comes with a five channel speaker (four speakers at the front and a rear firing full tone driver). Each speaker has dedicated digital amplifier to provide top notch output. A6 comes with BeoLink Multiroom technology which means that you can unite this speaker with other B&O products to create a wirless speaker system and pump music to all corners of your home.
The A6 is wrapped in custom made textile on front cover, designed in collaboration with Kvadrat and the delicate weaving patter makes the A6 look absolutely stunning. BeoPlay A6 will be available in four colors: Light Grey, Dusty Blue, Dark Rose and Dark Grey
BeoPlay A6 was designed by award-winning Danish designer Jakob Wagner. To him the acoustic vision was the starting point when designing BeoPlay A6.
“In a way I have designed BeoPlay A6 the same way I design a piece of furniture, however here form follows sound and interaction.Its intuitive yet surprising shape always “plays to you” no matter where you are and generates a much more intimate relationship than you would normally get from a conventional music system.

I own an A6, the design is very nice and the sound was amazing. I said “was” because 2 months after the end of the warranty the A6 stop working (sound started, but volume fade down to 0 in a short time) and B&0 support said they can’t help. You should consider buying another brand.
