LG announce band play smartphone in South Korea for music lovers
Band Play is a new smartphone from LG and is announced in South Korea. Targeting music lovers, LG has included premium QuadBeat 3 headset with the smartphone. Band Play is priced at 394,800 Won (around $350 USD) and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. LG has not yet announced when this new smartphone will go for sale.
Band Play is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip (quad core cpu), has a 5″ 720p display. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of user storage onboard and users can expand the storage using microSD card. Battery is rated at 2300mAh which is slightly low compared to today’s standards. Coming to optics, there is 13mp rear camera and a 5mp front facing camera. The camera application supports new G series gestures to use hand gestures to take a picture. To please music lovers, LG has added dual front firing 1W speakers.
