LG announce GizmoPal 2 and GizmoGadget smart wearables for kids

This week, LG has announced GizmoPal® 2 and GizmoGadget™, two new wearable devices made for kids, only for kids. These are designed for Verizon Wireless and will require Verizon Wireless plan to work. While GizmoGadget comes with a touchscreen display, GizmoPal does not have a display and instead makes use of LEDs. GizmoPal 2 and GizmoGadget by LG will be available on November 5. The GizmoPal 2 is $79.99 and the GizmoGadet is $149.99. Both devices require a $5 monthly access fee that can be added and removed at any time to your existing Verizon Wireless plan.

The GizmoPal 2 is IPX7 certified waterproof, has a voice recorder and comes with multiple LED status lights that notify about a call or message. There is no display on this wearable and for that, you need to get the GizmoGadget. GizmoGadget has 1.3″ touchscreen display, a pedometer, jump rope counter that will provide fun experience for kids. GizmoGadget will also act as a two way communication device (send and receive voice call and messages between GizmoGadets). GizmoGadget will be available in red and blue color options and kids can customize this using different touchscreen themes, colorful bands etc. Both the devices come with built-in GPS locator that parents can use to track their kids.
