Reliance has added another smartphone to its Lyf series with the launch of Lyf Water 5. The device has been priced at Rs. 11,699 and is available to buy via Amazon India. The Lyf Water 5 features a 5-inch IPS display (1280 x 720 pixels) with ASAHI Dragontrail glass protection. The device is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clubbed with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

The dual-SIM device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded using microSD. The Lyf Water 5 features a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera for selfies. The device measures 142 x 70.5 x 7.7mm and weighs 136g. The device supports 4G LTE and VoLTE (Voice over LTE). While the first SIM will support 4G, the second slot will come with 2G support only.

The device is powered by a 2920mAh battery which the company claims awill provide up to 15 hours of 4G talk-time, 19 hours of music playback and 5 hours of video playback. On the connectivity front, the device includes 4G LTE/VoLTE, 3G, GPS, FM radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. The device is currently available in Black color on Amazon.
