Snapchat and Square partner to let you transfer cash using SnapCash application

Thanks to SnapCash, sending money to a friend in need is now as easy as sending text message. The brand new SnapCash application is a result of collaboration between Snapchat and Square. All you need to do is save your debit card detail when you setup the application. The debit card data is stored by Square (yes, it is secure). To transfer cash to a friend (who is also using Snapcash application), swipe into chat, type dollar sign followed by the amount you want to transfer and hit ‘green’ button. Here is a musical video (that indeed looks wierd) that explains how SnapCash works. SnapCash application is available in USA and only for those who are at least 18 years old.
