Gingerbread and Froyo fading, KitKat on the rise

The age old version of Android, Froyo (Android 2.2) is now on less than 1% of Android devices while Gingerbread is down to 13.5%. Kitkat though is on an accelerated rise, claiming 17.9% of share while JellyBean variants holds on to lions share (56.5%).

Coming to display types, 3.2″ to 4.7″ displays with hdpi resolution (180 to 280dpi) had the majority share (34.5%) while for xhdpi screen of same size came close second (19.5%) market share.
