PlayOn bring wide range of video services to Google TV

PlayOn is an interesting and unique service using which you can stream content from Hulu, Netflix etc to devices that does not have official support (like Google TV). You can download the application for free from here. This application is free for Google TV users but only for a limited period. We suggest you to first give this a try and only if everything works, go for paid subscription as there are couple of low-rated reviews on Play Store (reason being incompatibility on few Google TV devices). Also, do note that you need to install client application on your PC and your Google TV device must connect to your PC to start streaming. Once the free time is over, users will be charged $25 a year or $50 for lifetime license.

The list of supported services though is indeed huge (Hulu, Redbox*, Netflix*, NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, Comedy Central, MLB.tv*, CNN, The Food Network, History, ESPN, ESPN3, TV.com, SpikeTV, Amazon VOD, BET, Adult Swim, Oprah Winfrey Network, Nick, PBS, PBS Kids, FoxSoccer.tv*, Al Jazeera, MTV, Vevo, and many more) and we think that this one service is enough to watch wide range of content.
