Acer Chromebook 11 gets a refresh at CES 2018

Up to 10 hour battery life, support for Play Store apps

The new Acer Chromebook 11 2018 version is now official and will be available in North America in April with prices starting at $249, and in EMEA in March with prices starting at €249. Powered by  Intel® Celeron® processor, the Chromebook 11 comes with an 11.6″ IPS display (touch screen optional). New Chromebook 11 will support Google Play store applications (Android) at launch and comes with a 10-hour battery life.

Powered by Intel Celeron processor, the new Acer Chromebook 11 is configured to have 4GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of eMMC storage space. The design is fanless design and so even at top CPU utilisation, the notebook will run quietly. Thanks to dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports, the Chromebook 11 can be easily connected to multiple peripherals or can even be configured to have dual external displays.

Those who need more space can make use of microSD card slot. Apart from two USB Type-C ports, the new Acer Chromebook 11 comes with two USB 3.0 ports. As expected, there is built-in Bluetooth and 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The 11.6″ IPS display comes with 1366×768 pixel resolution and buyers can opt for a touchscreen. For video calling, HDR front-facing camera, dual stereo speakers and integrated microphone are built in.
