Dell slims down Alienware m15 gaming notebook

Dell Alienware M15 is unlike any Alienware laptop. Alienware notebooks are usually known for their bulk. This one though is just  0.83″ thick. Priced at $1299 for base configuration, the Alienware M15 will go on sale across the globe from 25th of October. M15 is the thinnest and lightest gaming laptop that Alienware has ever made.

Available in Epic Silver and Nebula Red, m15 comes with 8th generation Intel processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 OC and 1070 Max-Q graphics cards capable of VR. Alienware m15 comes with mSeries keyboard even features 1.4mm of key travel, anti-ghosting keys and four Alien-FX enabled zones to light up the room during any gameplay, while also supporting in game lighting reactions for over 150 game titles.

Other specs include 17 hours of battery life with optional 90Whr battery, Alienware command center technology, Cryto-Tech 2.0 thermal management, arrow side bezel to maximize screen space, numeric keypad (first time in sub-17″ Alienware laptop).

With the M15, Alienware now has an answer to all those thin and light gaming laptops released by brands like ASUS, Lenovo etc. Whether it can take the fight to others, we have to wait and see. The price though is irresistible and we have to wait and see what the base configuration would be.
