BlackBerry releases official Priv intro video

Priv

BlackBerry Priv is the first BlackBerry device running on Android. BlackBerry CEO John Chen had a rough time when they launched the BlackBerry Priv.

BlackBerry has uploaded their own PRIV demo, an introduction of sorts, highlighting the phone’s exclusive new features. At 41 seconds the video isn’t long, but we do get to see BlackBerry’s new shortcuts, BlackBerry Hub, and physical keyboard gestures. The BlackBerry Priv comes with a 3410mAh Battery and is powered by Android Lollipop 5.1. It will feature a 18-megapixel primary camera and comes with BlackBerry’s privacy-focused software, DTEK.

The BlackBerry Priv is also up for pre-order at Carphone Warehouse, where they’re offering it on a monthly payment scheme, as an upgrade to your current phone (under contract), or without contract which is priced at USD$895.
