Micromax release Canvas Spark in India, available via Snapdeal

Micromax has announced the new Canvas Spark Android smartphone that will go on sale from 29th of April in India. Canvas Spark will be sold exclusively on Snapdeal website. As usual, the sale is via flash sales and you need to register with Snapdeal, select the phone and make the purchase. Canvas Spark is powered by MediaTek MT6582 chip (1.3GHz quad core CPU and ARM Mali-400 GPU) and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage and can be expanded using the microSD card slot. The display is 4.7” in size and has 960*540 pixel resolution. Display is protected by layer of Gorilla Glass 3 scratch resistant glass. Coming to cameras, there is an 8mp camera at the back and the front camera has 2mp sensor. Other specs include 3G network, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB port, dual SIM card slots. The phone weighs 134 grams and is just 8.5mm thin.
