Samsung launches Marshmallow beta program for Galaxy S6

Samsung today announced the launch of its new Marshmallow beta program for the Galaxy S6. The Korean giant announced that users interested in beta-testing the Marshmallow update can sign up and get early access to the beta version of the Marshmallow update.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Marshmallow update

Following in the footsteps of Apple and Google, Samsung will be rolling out the public beta of its Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S6 in the coming days. This is after the Lollipop update caused a lot of troubles for Samsung last time.

While all the current and last year flagships will receive the Marshmallow update, Samsung wants to make sure the final release is relatively stable and bug-free. This new beta release will let users of the Galaxy S6 in South Korea test the update and submit feedback. This should help the company iron out most of the critical bugs before pushing it out to the general public. At the moment, however, the beta channel program is available only for users on KT and LGU+ carriers.

If you qualify, download the Galaxy Care app below and follow the instructions.
