LG G5 pre-booking starts in India for Rs. 52,990

LG G5 that was launched at MWC 2016 earlier this year. The phone has been launched in India and is now available for pre-booking at LG’s brand stores and online exclusively at Flipkart.

The pre-order window will be open till May 30. Those who pre-order the device will get a LG Cam Plus companion device worth Rs 6,500 for free with the smartphone.

The CAM Plus is a camera module which gives you better grip as well as physical buttons such as a shutter, record, zoom and power button. It comes with an additional 1,200mAh battery and expands the total battery capacity to 4,000mAh.

The G5 features a 5.3-inch QHD display (1440×2560 pixels) and comes with always-on display technology. The always-on display will allow users to check information such as time and notifications among other things.

The device is powered by 2.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clubbed with 4 GB RAM. It comes with 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card. It comes with Adreno 530 GPU and Qualcomm Spectra 14-bit dual image signal processor.

The device comes with a 16-megapixel 78-degree lens and an 8-megapixel 135-degree wide angle lens on the back and an 8-megapixel secondary camera.

The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by a 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, 3G, USB Type-C port, NFC and Bluetooth 4.2.
