HP announces the Envy 8 Note, starts at $329

HP has announced Envy Note 8, the company’s latest tablet. It has an 8-inch 1080p display, is powered by Intel Atom x5 processor and runs on Windows 10 OS. It features a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs windows 10. The tablet also comes with LTE connectivity, but it only supports Verizon for now. Some of the other features of the new tablet include a micro SD card reader, micro USB 2.0 OTG port for charging and connecting accessories and high quality audio.

 

Envy Note 8 Keyboard

It also comes with optional 10-inch HP ENVY Note Keyboard Folio. The keyboard case has aluminum build, includes an 89 x 34mm click-pad and lets you use it in either landscape or portrait modes. The base of the keyboard can store the tablet to carry it easily and it also includes a small loop on the side of the dock to hold the bundled stylus.

  • 1.44GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor (up to 1.84 GHz in turbo mode) with Intel HD Graphics
  • 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 64GB with microSD
  • Windows 10 OS
  • 5MP auto focus rear camera with 1080p video recording
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • 7.7mm thick and weighs 362g
  • Audio by B&O Play
  • 4G (via SIM card slot), WiFi 802.11 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG
  • Up to 6.25 hours of battery life

 

Pricing and availability:

The HP ENVY Note 8 will be available in the US on November 8 from HP directly, as well as select retailers. Pricing starts at $329 for the tablet and stylus, and if you want to add the keyboard the package price would be an extra $100, at $429.
