Xolo Era launched for INR 4,444 with a 5 inch display

Xolo, Lava’s sub-brand has launched a new Android smartphone in India, with an exclusive partnership with Snapdeal. The Xolo Era will be available on the Indian retailer’s website for a price of INR 4,444.

The Xolo Era is an out and out entry level smartphone, with very modest specs, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Xolo has used a 5 inch FWVGA resolution display, but thankfully there’s 1 GB RAM.

All things considered, while the display and the processor are nothing to write home about, the RAM, internal storage and dual SIM support make the Xolo Era a really good offering in this segment. The phone will be available on Snapdeal.com exclusively and will come with a free back cover and a USB OTG cable.
