Runtastic release Sleep Better sleep tracker application
Runtastic, maker of running and workout application that goes by same name has launched a sleep tracking application named “Sleep Better”, an application that helps users track their sleep cycle and improve bed time habits. Sleep Better application is already available for iOS and Android devices. Quick list of features include Smart Alarm & Wake-Up Window, Moon Phase Tracking, Dream Notes and complex Sleep Tracking (Duration, Cycles and Efficiency). Apart from tracking sleep, Sleep Tracker can also track variables such as caffeine and alcohol intake, workout detail and even stress levels creating better stats on sleep. Sleep Better is fully integrated with iOS 8 HealthKit giving users lot more control and access to a comprehensive dashboard.

- Use Dream Notes to learn what you dream about most and what percentage of your dreams are good, bad or neutral
- View sleep history, including daily stats and overviews for longer time periods (i.e. a selected week or month)
- Filter history taking daily variables into account to determine when you’re sleeping best
- In order to use the app, users simply activate a sleep session with the press of a button and set their mobile device on the bed (next to their pillow). The sleep session will end when the Smart Alarm sounds or the user manually ends the session with a quick swipe.
