[CES 2015] Seagate Seven is the slimmest 500 GB USB 3.0 hard disk drive
Seagate has announced a beautiful new 500 GB external hard disk drive at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015. The company calls it the Seven, and at 7mm, it’s the slimmest 500 GB USB 3.0 hard disk in the market.
The portable hard disk, announced to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Seagate’s first 5.25” hard disk for PCs, is based on the 5mm Angsana drive. Covered in the shiny steel chassis are platters, which makes the slimness of the Seven seem even more surrealistic. Seagate is including USB 3.0 for faster data transfers.
The Seagate Seven is priced at $99.99.
