Cyanogen OS 12 update rolling out to all OnePlus One users

<p>Cyanogen Inc is rolling out the much awaited (and delayed) Cyanogen OS 12 update to all OnePlus One users across the world, the company announced today. The new Cyanogen OS 12 update is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and should be available to all users very soon.</p>

<p>The Cyanogen OS 12 update was delayed by a fortnight – Cyanogen and OnePlus had promised to push out the update before April but an unexpected delay pushed back the release. Both the companies had properly communicated the news of delays and the reasons as well, but it is nice to see the update being rolled out finally.</p>

<p>The Cyanogen OS 12 update brings a few really nice goodies to OnePlus One users. The inbuilt App Themer will allow you to apply themes even to individual apps – this goes far deeper than merely changing the DPI of apps, a utility built in some custom ROMs. Apart from that, and other Cyanogen OS 12 update features seen in CyanogenMod 12, Boxer has also been included, powering the email service in the Cyanogen OS 12 update.</p>
