FunTouch OS 4.5 : How to keep files hidden in private safe

We save a lot of private data (photos, documents etc) on our smartphones. It is better if such content is saved locked in a safe location. EMUI 8 comes with ‘private file locker’ in which you can save your sensitive content. Private Safe in ColorOS 5.2 lets you lock all or specific data so that you can have your secret safe for files. In this guide, we help you setup ‘Private Safe’.

• Open [File Manager]>[File safe].
• Set password & security questions.
• Click on [Move in] at the bottom.
• Select files that you want to move to File Safe.
• Click on [Move in] at the bottom.
• To open File safe, you have to enter the password that you had set earlier.

If you forgot the password:

Go to [Settings]>[Fingerprint, face and password]>[Privacy and app encryption], click disable the privacy password.
