ASUS RoG Flow X13, announced at CES 2021, is one of the most powerful RoG laptops, thanks to AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS CPU. ASUS also announced its first interactive experience and an exciting lineup of gaming weaponry and technologies at the CES 2021 ROG For Those Who Dare virtual launch event.

ROG Flow X13

ASUS ROG Flow X13 comes with a 13″ display with 16:10 aspect ratio and is powered by an AMD Ryzen™ 9 5980HS mobile processor CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics. The 100W USB Type-C charger can charged the battery from 0-60% in just 39 minutes. The display comes with either 120Hz FullHD panel or a 4K panel. Also, the display can be flipped 360°.

Thanks to USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt support, you can attach an external GPU enclosure and X13 can support up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics. Two down-firing speakers and Dolby Atmos technology deliver pristine, immersive audio. In addition, Two-Way AI Noise-Cancelation ensures clear in-game communication and is powered by the CPU to have minimal impact on gaming performance.

ASUS RoG Flow X13 also comes with Windows 10 OS pre-installed. You can add up to 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 1TB M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe SSD. The 13.4″ display comes with WQUXGA resolution, covers 116% sRGB coverage, 86% Adobe coverage and 85% DCI-P3 coverage. The keyboard comes with backlit keys. Other specs include 720p HD camera, 2x 1W speakers with smart AMP technology, 62Wh 4-cel Lithium-Ion battery.

Coming to ports, the ASUS RoG Flow X13 comes with 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x USB Type-A, 2x USB 3.2 USB Type-C, 1x RoG XG mobile interface, 1x 3.5mm audio jack.

The cooling system of Flow X13 is fine-tuned for high performance in a small chassis. ROG is the first to apply AMD CPUs with liquid metal in mass-produced laptops. Flow X13 has three heatsinks and fan outlets, and new Arc Flow fans that improve airflow by up to 15% without increasing noise. A self-cleaning thermal module also ensures reliable performance over time. ROG offers multiple operating modes so users can tune the cooling system for different requirements.
