DS81L is the new low power barebone media centre from Shuttle
Shuttle, pioneer in small form factor desktops announced DS81L barebones media player, powered by Intel’s CPUs. With a maximum power usage of 84W, DS81L supports dual disply FullHD or single display Ultra HD video. Whilte one can get a basic Celeron CPU, the configuration can be upped to include a Core i7 for blazing speed., upto 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3 memory can be installed.
DS81L comes with dual USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, dual LAN ports, dual DisplayPorts, one HDMI port and two COM ports. Those who use older VGA connector for display can get an accessory PVG01 that can be connected to the motherboard. DS81L will be available soon globally and the price is not yet revealed.
