Google enables lane guidance in few European countries for Maps application
Google has announced this week that in select European countries, Google Maps will come with voice-guided navigation with lane guidance for highways. At launch, this new feature will be available in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, UK and Ireland.
When lane guidance is activated, user(s) will receive a voice guide alert asking him/her to switch to the right lane or to continue in the same lane if he/she is in the right lane. This helps a lot, especially if the person is on a highway with lot of traffic.
