Mi Band 3i launched in India for Rs 1299
Xiaomi is a leader when it comes to wearables in the fitness segment. Their Mi Bands are hugely popular. Recently Xiaomi launched Mi Band 4 for Rs 2299 in India. A few years back, they had launched Mi Band HRX, which was a simpler variant of the Mi Band 2. It was cheaper and it was launched in collaboration with popular Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan’s fitness brand HRX. Following up on that product, Xiaomi has today launched Mi Band 3i which is a toned-down version of Mi Band 3.
Mi Band 3i will be priced at Rs 1299 and will be available in one color option: Black. Like the Mi Band HRX, the Mi Band 3i also does not have a heart rate sensor. Otherwise, it is very similar to Mi Band 3. It is launched only for the Indian market.
Xiaomi on Thursday announced the launch of Mi Smart Band 3i. Xiaomi’s new wearable follows the popular Mi Band 4 and is available for pre-order starting today via mi.com. The latest smart band is priced at Rs 1,299. It’s available in Black color option. Though Mi Band 4 was launched, Mi Band 3 is still available for Rs 1799. But the Mi Band 3i for Rs 1299 will be a cheaper option for the price-conscious.
Mi Band 3i has a 0.78 inch AMOLED touch display and it has 5ATM water resistance. It is a mono-color display. It is powered by a 110 mAh battery, which will help last the band for 20 days on a single charge. Like any fitness bands, it has the ability to track your activities, sleep, calorie burn, and steps. It shows weather and can be used to view notifications from different apps. It can be used to accept or reject the call
Mi Smart Band 3i also comes with the “Find Device” option which enables the detection of a paired smartphone directly from the band. Some of the top features of Mi Band 3i include calorie counter, ability to reject/accept calls, view messages, sleep monitor, sleep counter, event reminders, app notifications, and timer among others. It can do everything expected out of a fitness band, except for tracking heart rate.
