Microsoft announced Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 to take on budget Androids

Just when we though that Windows Phone devices are getting drowned in barrage of powerful low-end  Android smartphones, Microsoft decided to step up and retaliate. Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 will be the new affordable Lumia devices that will take on the low-end Android smartphones. Best part is that both Lumia 435 will cost just 69 euros while Lumia 532 will cost 79 euros. Come February, Microsoft will release the phones in Europe, Asia-Pacific, India, the Middle East and Africa.

Running Windows Phone 8.1, both device will come with 30 GB of free OneDrive cloud storage and access to thousands of applications on Windows Phone application store. Lumia 435 is powered by 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chip while Lumia 532 is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 chip. Both the smart phones come with a 4” 480×800 pixel resolution display which is a bummer given that 4” display is tiny by today’s standards. Both the smart phones come with 1560mAh battery, a gigabyte of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. A microSD card slot is available that can take upto 128GB microSD card. Microsoft will release 3G single SIM and 3G dual SIM variants of these devices across the globe in bright green, bright orange, white and black color options. You can change the back case for both the phones.
