This guide helps you to block application from access mobile data on your phone running MIUI11. Time and again, we end up with an application using up too much of cellular data or we may have set of apps that we never use while connected to cellular network. It is a good practice to block these apps from using cellular data as you do not want these apps eat up your data and battery life by running continuously in background. - Open [settings] application.
- Go to [Connection & sharing].
- Click on Data Usage.
- You will now see mobile data usage per application.
- Tap on Mobile data usage drop down menu to switch between Today, Yesterday, This month, last month views.
- Select the application for which you want to disable mobile data.
- Tap on ‘Mobile data’ and ‘background data’ switches to turn them off for the application.
