Oppo launched R7 lite and R7 plus in India

Oppo has been in the mobile manufacturing business for a while now and in 2014 they made their entry in India, with Oppo N1. Since then Oppo has been slowly and steadily building its base in India and connecting with the Indian audience. Now they have launched two new products in the country: The Oppo R7 Plus and Oppo Rs lite.

Both the models are made of metal and have uni-body construction. They run on the new and improved ColorOS 2.1. ColorOS 2.1 comes with loads of new features that bring in both utility value and aesthetic enhancement.

OPPO R7 Lite

The R7 lite is a dual SIM device, but the second sim slot can also be used as an SD card slot. It has a 5 inch AMOLED in-cell display with curved 2.5D edges. It is a HD screen with 294 ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core processor and has 2 GB of RAM. It also has 16 GB of internal storage. The rear camera is 13 MP while the front camera has a8 MP sensor. It has a hybrid focusing system to combine phase detection and contrast detection based auto focusing. The device is powered by a 2320 mAh battery and weights 147 grams. It is priced at Rs 17,990 and will be available in the market from 10th September.

OPPO R7 Plus

R7 plus is also a dual SIM device and has a large 6 inch full HD display with a pixel density of 367 ppi. It is powered by a snapdragon 615 octa core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and has 3 GB of RAM. Its internal memory is 32 GB and the memory is expandable by upto 128 GB. It has a massive 4100 mAh battery, the biggest battery in this segment and yet it weighs just 192 grams. It is priced at Rs 29990 and will be available in the market from 25th September. It has OPPO’s proprietary rapid charging system called the VOOC and can charge your mobile in 5 min to offer 2 hours of talk time.

The R7 plus has a 13 MP Sony IMX278 sensor with RGBW technology and laser assisted focussing technology. The front camera is a 8 MP with a wide angle view of 80 degree. The primary camera offers to take super fast shots with hybrid contract detection and laser focus system. It does not have Optical image stabilization, but it offers a software solution which take 1 shot before and after the intended shot and applies an algorithm to give you a clear shot.
