ZTE Axon 7 Limited Edition Announced

ZTE has announced a limited edition version of it popular smartphone, the Axon 7. The Axon 7 was launched in July. The device was priced at $399 and the limited edition version of the ZTE Axon 7 has been priced at $499.

The ZTE Axon 7 Limited Edition comes with the same build as its predecessor and the only change is that it will be available in Gold color only. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MiFavor UI 4.0 skinned on top.

The ZTE Axon 7 Limited Edition features a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. ZTE has added force touch panel to the new device. ZTE claims that the device will now provide more intuitive user experience.

Lixin Cheng, chairman and CEO of ZTE USA said: “As ZTE continuously receives and listens to consumer feedback, we’re providing an option for those that love the Axon 7 to experience it on an optimized and enhanced level.”

The device is powered by a Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clubbed with Adreno 530. The Axon 7 now comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage instead of 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which was found in the earlier device. The storage can be further expanded using microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the ZTE Axon 7 features a 20 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, phase detection autofocus, OIS and Dual LED flash. On the front, the device sports an 8 MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The Axon 7 is powered by a 3,250 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C connector.
