Qualcomm announce 620, 618, 425 and 415 Snapdragon chips with 4G LTE support

Qualcomm Technologies has today announced the availability of four new midrange chips that bring 4G LTE technology to the masses. The new Snapdragon 620, 618, 425 and 415 chips will power budget and mid range devices. All four chips will have integrated X8 LT modem with download speeds up to 300Mbps and upload speeds upto 100Mbps. New Snapdragon chips also enabled high end multimedia features such as dual image signal processors (ISP) and FLAC support for premium quality audio playback. Commercial devices featuring the new Snapdragon 620, 618, 425, and 415 processors are expected to be available in the second half of 2015.
