Samsung announce sleep tracking IoT device at IFA 2015

Samsung is betting huge on Internet of Things (IoT) this year. Correction! Every small, medium, giant, gorilla sized company is betting on IoT. At IFA today, Samsung has unveiled SLEEPsense, a new IoT device that will track sleep, movements and sleep pattern. SLEEPsense will also act as a hub for other connected devices like AC ( maintain optimum temperature so that you can get more ‘deep sleep’). Built in EarlySense will detect heart rate and sleeping rate while you are asleep.

SLEEPsense will be available later this year in South Korea and select regions across the globe. SLEEPsense is just 1cm thick and is placed under the mattress.
