Zomato integrates Cortana, Uber and Urbanspoon in its Windows Phone app

Zomato has pushed out a new update of its Windows Phone app, bringing Uber integration and merging Urbanspoon listings in its Windows Phone app. The Indian eatery discovery service had acquired a US company called Urbanspoon, bringing Zomata a boatload of data for the US and other western markets.

The new update at v6.5 also adds Cortana integration, with a lot of code optimization making the app better than ever. Urbanspoon data migration has brought support for USA, Australia and Canada, which should help Zomato expand in those markets.

For Uber integration, you will have to link your Uber account with your Zomato account. Without having to launch the Uber app separately, you can check how long it will take for the different types of taxis to arrive or reach to your destination. This can be helpful while planning your dinner or lunch.
