iBall Slide i701 Windows 8.1 tablet launched in India for INR 4,999

Venturing in to new waters as far as Windows tablets are concerned, iBall has launched the Slide i701 Windows 8.1 tablet in India for an astonishingly low price of INR 4,999.

While the specs coming in at this price of INR 4,999 will not blow you away, iBall has included a 7 inch display with an unknown resolution. There is 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. We don’t have the word on the resolution of the display yet, but don’t expect it to be more than the basic requirement of 1366 x 768 pixels. iBall has not revealed whether the internal storage is expandable either, but you get one year of 1 TB OneDrive storage for free along with a Office 365 subscription for the same period. A 2 MP camera sits on the back and a 0.3 MP camera on the front.

iBall is bundling a free HDMI cable along with three covers to make the Slide i701 even more tempting for buyers.
