Vivo FunTouch OS 9 : Gestures

Vivo FunTouch OS 9 comes with wide range of gestures. In this guide, we will show you how to enable various gestures. Also, do not miss our “Recommended Smartphones” list that contains best smartphones for every budget.

Double tap to wake

  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap on Smart Motion.
  • Enable Smart turn on/off screen.

Smart Call

  • Go to settings application.
  • Tap on Smart motion.
  • Go to Smart call.
  • Once this is on, in contacts, when you open a contact, keep phone near to your ear to call that person. This may not work with every Vivo phone.

Draw a letter to open application [Smart Wake]

  • Go to settings application.
  • Go to Smart Wake.
  • You will see various alphabets here that you can draw on your phone. Select what application to launch for each letter.

Keep brightness high when watching videos. [Smart Keep Bright]

  • Open settings application.
  • Go to Smart motion.
  • Enable Smart turn on/off screen.

Smart Answer

  • Open settings application.
  • Go to smart motion.
  • Go to smart call.
  • Enable smart answer to answer a call by holding your phone close to your ear.

Smart Switch

  • Open settings application.
  • Go to smart motion.
  • Go to Smart call.
  • Enable smart switch.
  • Once enabled, you can switch from speaker mode to earpiece by moving your phone closer to your ear.

Smart Mute

  • Open Settings application.
  • Go to Smart motion.
  • Go to Smart call.
  • Enable smart mute to cover the screen to mute your phone when it is ringing.

Raise to wake

  • Open settings application.
  • Go to smart motion.
  • Enable smart turn on/off screen.

One hand keyboard

  • Open settings application.
  • Tap on One-handed.
  • Turn on Access one-handed keyboard.
  • Once enabled, you can slide inward from outeredge of keybord to zoom out on keyboard.
