Honor tie up with Lyft in USA, to go on college campus tour offering free phones
Honor smartphone brand has announced tie up with Lyft, the ride sharing platform in USA and will preload the Lyft app on all Honor 8 devices in USA. Honor will be conducting events at college campuses across the country and award free Lyft rides and Honor 8 smartphones for lucky students.
“With Honor 8, we combined stunning design with great hardware,” said Zack Zhang, Vice President of Honor USA. “But we also focused on the user experience by providing quick ways for consumers to get the most out of their device, including accessing Lyft’s leading ridesharing app with just one click.”
“With the Lyft platform, we set out to reconnect people and communities through better transportation – and part of that work happens through the devices we carry in our pockets,” said Oliver Hsiang, Vice President of Partnerships at Lyft. “With Honor 8, the smartphone experience is also better – having Lyft mapped to open via double-tapping the SmartKey fingerprint ID makes getting a ride even easier.”
The campus tour plans to hit the following campuses in August and September, 2016:
- Boston Market
- San Francisco Market
- Portland Market
- NYC Market
- DC Market
- Nashville Market
- Los Angeles Market
