Lenovo P2 Launched In India Starting At Rs. 16,999

Lenovo P2 has been launched in India today. The latest device from Lenovo comes with a massive 5100 mAh battery, capable of lasting for nearly 3 days with moderate usage. The P2 was launched back in September last year during the IFA 2016 trade show. The phone starts at a price of Rs. 16,999 in India.

Lenovo P2 Specifications

The Lenovo P2 comes with a 5.5 inch full HD Super AMOLED display, resulting in a pixel density of ~401 PPI. The display is covered by a 2.5D curved glass for an enhanced user experience. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Lenovo’s custom skin on top.

Coming to the processor, the P2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The device comes in two variants – 3 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM. The internal storage is fixed at 32 GB, which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 128 GB.

In terms of imaging, the P2 comes with a 13 MP rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus and dual LED flash. The phone can record videos up to 1080p at 30 FPS. On the front, you get a 5 MP camera for selfies and video calling.

Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and FM Radio. The phone also comes with fast charging support and is powered by a 5100 mAh battery. Lenovo has also added a dedicated one-touch power save button on the P2, allowing you to quickly switch to power saving mode to extend the battery life.

Pricing And Availability

The Lenovo P2 is priced at Rs. 16,999 for the 3 GB RAM version and Rs. 17,999 for the 4 GB version. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting today midnight. Available colour options are Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray.
