Acer has unveiled the new Iconia Tab 10 at its next@Acer event in New York City. The Iconia Tab 10 will cost around £180 and will be launched in UK in June. The tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

The Iconia Tab 10 comes with a 10-inch full HD display that uses MiraVision technology from MediaTek to offer more colors and better contrast. The tab comes with four front facing speakers that deliver 160 degree surround sound. The tab features Zero Air Gap technology for presenting brighter images and for enhanced visibility when the tablet is used in a sunlit environment. The speakers come with DTS-HD Premium Sound.

The Acer Iconia Tab 10 is powered by a 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT8163 64-bit quad-core processor clubbed with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD.

 

The tablet features a 5-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies. To help users select better setting options, the tablet offers Acer’s MediaMaster button which best settings depending on your activity. It changes the settings depending on whether you are watching a video, listening to music, or playing a game.

Pricing and Availability

The Acer Iconia Tab 10 will be priced at £180 (~$260) and will be available in UK in June. There is no information on the global availability of the device.
