Cisco Project Squared is next generation collaboration app, available for free

When it comes to making collaboration devices and applications, there aren’t many that matches Cisco’s expertise and quality. This week, Cisco announced “Project Squared” cloud based business collaboration application. Project Squared combines chat, audio, video, content sharing and multi-party meetings in single experience. Project Squared is bulit on Cisco Collaboration Cloud platform that is famous for web conferencing and telepresence.

Project Squared can be accessed from any device and also works on web browsers.  Project Squared makes use of notifications on smartphone operating systems (Apple iPhone and iPad devices and Android devices) to alerts users when there are updates. If you are eager to try this out, head to http://projectsquared.com and download the application for free. While Firefox browser supports voice and video conferencing without the need to install a plugin, if you are using Chrome, you will have to install a plug-in to enable audio/video conferencing.
