Samsung launches Notebook 9 Ultrabook laptops starting at $1,000

Notebook 9Earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016, Samsung had launched two new Notebook 9 ultrabooks in 15 inch and 13 inch display sizes. At that time, Samsung revealed some of the specs for its latest Ultrabooks, but the pricing was unknown and the availability was given as “early 2016.”

Now the Samsung Notebook 9 series laptops are available for purchase for $1000 and up. The 13.3 inch and 15 inch Samsung  ultrabooks weigh 1.85 lbs and 2.9 lbs respectively.

Notebook 9

  • Notebook 9 w/13.3″ 1080p display and Intel Core i5 for $1000
  • Notebook 9 spin w/13.3″ QHD+ convertible display and Core i7 for $1200
  • Notebook 9 w/15.6″ 1080p display and Core i7 for $1200
  • Notebook 9 Pro w/15.6″ UHD display and Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics for $1400

The 13.3-inch version comes with a 1080p resolution and an Intel Core i5 processor. It features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. It has a battery life of 10 hours and is priced at $999.

The second model comes with a 13.3-inch QHD+(3200×1800) display that can spin around and convert the ultrabook into a tablet. This comes with a Core i7, processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. It has a battery life of 7.3 hours. It is priced at $1199.

The next edition is a 15.6-inch version with UHD resolution and a Core i7 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD. It weighs 2.9 pounds. It has 12 hours of battery life and is priced at $1199.

The final edition comes with a 15.6-inch UHD display. It is powered by a Core i7 processor coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics card. This version has 6.5 hours of battery life. It is priced at $1399.
